I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  I received my Master’s Degree in Psychology from Cal Poly in 2008.  Being a therapist is my fifth career, having been a teacher for 17 years (I hold a Master’s Degree in French from Middlebury Language Schools), K-12 school administrator, and businessperson working with high tech companies as well as for myself as an entrepreneur, and Life Coach.  I bring a wealth of experience and wisdom to my work with clients, offering compassion, empathy, and gentle guidance.  In addition to my training as a psychotherapist, I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, through the Coaches’ Training Institute.  More recently, I have received training in EMDR as well as LIFESPAN INTEGRATION as a direct result of my interest in working with trauma.My philosophical orientation is existential humanist, which means I believe all people possess the resources—mental, physical, and spiritual—
